Yesterday we did a obedience competition, the last one Iza and I did was a disaster, but we just left the field and went into the agility area and did it all over again, with treats and a lot of positive voice. And she did a great job there, so I had no expectations what so ever this time.
This time around I decided to do it with treats and vocals, which is definitely against the rules. But the competition was unofficial and one of the competitors represented Sweden in the world championships, so it really didn’t matter.
But it turned out that the obedience competing Iza and the training Iza is two different dogs! She was on her tip toes and explosive! When she was in the bubble, she did so much better than she’s ever done before... The retrieving is so boring, in beginners class, that she most often does it in slow motion. But yesterday she was the fastest I ever seen her, jumping into sitting position beside me.
The disturbance was the scent of birds! So an indoors career might be the trick ❤️
Well all of us write here, both humans and dogs ;) At least that was the plan but it seems it´s mostly me Robyn who´s attached to the keyboard...
