Every little now and then I have that feeling:
-Why am I actually doing this and will it ever leed somewhere? Like the retrieve with wooden dummies, Iza and I have been working on those for two months and she find them dull, boring and a pain in the arse to put it mildly. The heeling, well she has done it but the real enthusiasm hasn't been there - well until we skipped it all for three days and just worked with control of hindquarters. And all of a sudden backing in a zig-zag pattern is her thought of great fun. And I took two days of just Rallylydnad's signs and the heeling and retrieves was all of a sudden great fun.
When it comes to calling her to me we have been working with short distances, all the time, and the speed hasn't been great so I tried one long one yesterday, and magic now there's speed even I a 2 meter long one!!!
I tried to do a silent work with Becca this morning and, though we haven't done that in a long time it was soooooo smooth!
And Ebba is gripping things on the word retrieve!
I guess this is one of those days that is the total opposite of the headline, today is one of those days that you don't question what you are doing at all.
Though my body is in pain, I'm sleeping 12 hours a day and feel sick of my self, but the dogs seem to enjoy my training and our basement has got flooring and now it just lacks paint on the wall and a new carpet in the stairwell 😍😍😍
Well all of us write here, both humans and dogs ;) At least that was the plan but it seems it´s mostly me Robyn who´s attached to the keyboard...
