Still waiting but...

6/4/2017

It never fails us, if the kennel club has problems with reading any xrays once a year, it will be the week that we send ours in for scoring... ;)
Well well, we will get the results some time in the future though.

Becca and I found our thing yesterday, following treats to do things is her favourit way of learning, and our instructor att RallyLydnad recommended that way of teaching as you are allowed to use both hands and vaoice to direct your dog. And Becca loved it! Iza thought it was very confusing, sitting infront of me all of a sudden, soI decided to let her skip this class and let Becca have her own thing.

The first seven "signs" or parts we have for homework is (as contact, that is allways a part to work with) The swedes can find them all on this link
  1. "infront" to sit or best is if the dog actually stand infront of you. We are goint to work on that one with liquid bacon cheese and a clicker. It our main thing to solve. The har thing is to not get a slightly diagonal standing/sitting
  2. Sign number 111 (Sit in front, right input, forward The driver stops and the dog routed in front of the driver. The dog sits with his nose against the driver. When the dog sits, routed it to the driver's left side by first go around the driver through his right side. The rig continues forward at the rate in force before torque. Returning to the left side. Google translate... ;)
  3. Sign number 112 (Sit in front, left input, forward The driver stops and the dog routed in front of the driver. The dog sits with his nose against the driver. When the dog sits, routed it to the driver's left side. When the dog's back at the driver side with its nose in the direction continues rig ahead of the pace in force before the operation. Returning to the left side.)
  4. Sign number 113 (Sit in front, right input, its The driver stops and the dog routed in front of the driver. The dog sits with his nose against the driver. When the dog sits in front routed it to the driver's left side by first going around the driver through his right hand and then put on the driver's left side. Thereafter, the carriage forward at the rate in force before torque. Returning to the left side. )
  5. Sign number 114 (Sit in front, left input, its The driver stops and the dog routed in front of the driver. The dog sits with his nose against the driver. When the dog sits in front routed it to the driver's left side and sits down. Thereafter, the carriage forward in the tempo force prior to the operation. Returning to the left side)
  6. Sign number 123 (Seating, 1, 2, 3 step forward The driver stops. The dog sits at the driver's side. The rig is a step forward, the driver stops and the dog sits at the driver. The rig is two steps forward, the driver stops and the dog sits at the driver. The rig is three steps forward, the driver stops and the dog sits at the driver. Thereafter, the carriage forward at the rate in force before torque.)
  7. Sign number 124 and Beccas favourite this far (Sit before, 1, 2, 3 steps backwards The driver stops and the dog routed in front of the driver. The dog sits with his nose against the driver. When the dog is going a driver step back, the dog is at the same time as he sits with his nose the driver. When the dog sits, the handler two steps back, the dog is at the same time as he sits with his nose against the driver. When the dog sits, the handler three steps back, the dog is at the same time as he sits with his nose against the driver. Then the driver selects any input to the driver's left side, around left or right to the left. When the dog is back at driver's side with its nose in the direction of continuing the carriage forward the pace in force before the operation, Returning to the left side.)
I found an excellent film showing this class ans different signs in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfhBNiEwTfw

And fell in love with the idea of "Conditioning the signs" from Kelpiestuds that can be read in Swedish on this link

Condition the signs

The signs are a huge visual signal for the dog. I want to take advantage of this by the sight of the signs get my dog happy - I want my dog to think "Hooray, time to work!" When it sees the rally signs because it knows that now it will happen funny things that give much reward in end. When competition exercise you should build the track before you take out your dog warm up the dog off the field, and then do one of competitive input to the first plate. I put a lot of time training at a focused input and a good first sign, I want my dog voluntarily to follow me and sit and wait for the starting signal. As the first sign ALWAYS dog sitting at the side until it received the start signal I train in this by backward chaning: after checking the warming that both the skill "walking foot" and "sit alongside 'works, I start with the super rewarding" her at the side "reached the plate four times. Since the dog walking foot a few meters, "sit beside" the sign, super reward. I then vary the distance the dog to walk by foot, the angle we come from, and how long the dog will be able to sit before the reward comes. This way I build up the attractiveness of the dog, it would be the first sign and settle there, and the only way to get there is to go well all the way through.  All by
