Iza had three new runs yesterday with partridge. The first one had her point twice and well the stop was not that great... Sometimes sheep fences can be a blessing 😇 The second one she pointed one, stopped ok but wanted to explore more than I wished her to do afterwards. The third was a blast! Just in the corner of a field of crops. Pointing steady, going hard when asked to and freezing in the air when it took off. Then we took her to another field, a game free one, just to run the tension out of her body. But the game free zone had two birds and a hare, so pointing, rising and stopping for the birds and probably blinking the hare, well at least she was back on the leash before the hare decided to go 😅😅 Hagel is almost back in buisness, Edda retrieving without pain and Becca so bored with just slow walks and obedience. Well she will have her check up on Friday and then she might be back in business ❤️ Today, if my hands and knees will cope with my wishes, all 4 will have a obedience session or two and then we will go for more work with the birds. It's supposed to start raining tonight and continue on and of for the next three days, which is making it tough for the partridge to take off. And for this part of Izas training the ability to takeoff is a necessity, so I guess Wednesday to Friday will be for the black grouse and capercaillie. Saturday is the final outdoorsy show of the year for Iza, and Martin will be judging the breed special for springer spaniels in Eslöv. The picture above is an really old one of Goldflames's Masterpiece or 'Nisse' one of the most pleasant dogs we've bred and owned ☺️
