Seventh session for Becca was back to declare that stop means stop, not pausing. As she has figured ou that no matter what ever is before eating the meatball ends with eating it. So we had to get it right that stop means stop no matter what. A no from my voice is a definite NO in her world, but a stop from a whistle never sounds angry so she doesn't take them as hard.
Iza started upstairs with a meatball but we went down in the basement with a quail and did two shorter advances on that. First one with no stopping and the one with "go-stop-go-stop-go" and yes she is much more easy to control around the quail than meatballs as she is so much more motivated with the birds around.
Eight time around Becca was more on her toes than ever and the result was up and down, but there's no hesitation, ever!!! Iza, well going back to meatballs was dull, boring and unmotivating. So we did some directions and stand, lay down, stand, lay down instead. We've got to find a new project for her ☺
So for the ninth time around Becca was still working with the meatballs and Iza did a quick repetition and then we went on a walk instead. Becca was great this time around, not a single mistake and Iza, well she's got this by now and we worked on speed. Not very successfully as I manage to blow a stop when she jumped with joy in to the work. I am an impulsive idiot sometimes 😫
Well all of us write here, both humans and dogs ;) At least that was the plan but it seems it´s mostly me Robyn who´s attached to the keyboard...
